Pat is a junior and Sharon is a senior.75 Years AgoA purchase of 700 pounds of candy by Warsaw volunteer firemen from the Lake City Candy Co., bought wholesale for distribution to deserving children for Christmas, was announced recently by Bud Moon, secretary of the firemen. In addition, the firemen will purchase 700 oranges and 725 apples, to be distributed with the reconditioned toys and candy. The fire station now resembles a toy maker's shop with the firemen busy repainting toys.

Indiana Hall, a 41,000-square-foot office building and dormitory, took almost a year and more than $3.7 million to build. It was completed in August and houses offices for student life, academic counseling, career services, financial aid, registrar and business.25 Years AgoThis recipe was submitted in the Spotlight Recipe Contest for Gourmet Potatoes.6 medium potatoes; 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese; 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. butter or margarine; 1/3 cup chopped onion; 1 tsp. salt; 1/4 tsp. pepper; 1-1/2 cups sour cream; paprikaCook potatoes in skins; cool. Peel; shred coarsely. In a saucepan over low heat combine cheese and 1/4 cup butter to margarine; stir occasionally until almost melted. Remove from heat and blend in sour cream, onion and seasonings. Fold in potatoes and put into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Dot with 2 tbsp. butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
