One-Time Events Highlight The Week

The Syracuse Library is offering a financial evaluations workshop at 6 p.m.  Tuesday. A limited number of places are available for drop-ins, so to ensure a place  inform the library of your plans to attend. “Where Does Your Money Go?” is a resource guide presented by Jackie Franks of Purdue Extension and offers a plan to track expenses, identify spending leaks, write goals and more.

County Man’s Internet Banking Account Compromised

An Elkhart man was able to steal money from a Kosciusko County man’s bank account after collecting the man’s personal information and taking control of his internet banking.

KCCF Receives $1M From Lilly Endowment Inc.

John L. "Jack" Steinkamp,

FORT WAYNE – John L. "Jack" Steinkamp, 74, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pa.  Born in Seymour, Jack was the son of the late Glenn and Jean Steinkamp. He graduated from Indiana University with a doctorate in law and began working at what is now Lincoln Financial Group. He retired 36 years later as vice president and associate general council.  He was a 28-year member of Faith Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, and was a member of the 707 Club in Media, Pa. Jack enjoyed the outdoors: golfing, traveling and taking daily walks. He loved to visit with family and friends and enjoyed all "woofers" he was privileged to meet.
