Lady Lancers hang on for win at Goshen

Grace’s women’s basketball team picked up a road win against Goshen on Wednesday. The Lady Lancers held off a fourth quarter rally from the Maple Leafs to clinch the victory by a score of 73-71. Kyannah Stull starred for Grace. She made a career-high seven 3-pointers, adding the go-ahead free throws for a 26-point performance.

Sometimes in life things simply do not happen as planned. The unexpected is always right around the corner. When these situations occur, we must adapt to change and determine the best steps in moving forward. Such was the case in selecting the subject for this week’s “Voice.” We were set on addressing the ugly spotlight on professional baseball with the recent sign-stealing incidents and that high school sports is not and must not be about “winning at any cost.”

Despite Turnovers, Lady Trojans Advance To Bi-County Tourney Final

Triton finished with more turnovers than points. It didn’t matter, because the persevering Trojans also finished with more points than Glenn. Charging back from a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit, Triton advanced to just its second-ever Bi-County Tournament girls basketball title game with a chilling 31-29 victory over the Falcons in Thursday’s second semifinal at LaVille’s Dale Cox Gym.
