Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Hampton decided not to file charges against any Warsaw Police Department personnel following an extensive investigation on a firearm incident from 2008.
COLUMBIA CITY – Juanita B. McConnell, 87, Little Cedar Lake, died peacefully after a four-month journey with cancer at 9:05 a.m. Dec. 1, 2014, at Renaissance Village, where she had been a resident since Sept. 20.
MENTONE – Carl E. “Hawk” Shepherd, 73, of 120 N. West St., Burket, died at 4:50 a.m. June 13, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was hospitalized for nearly a week and had been in failing health for the last two months.
