Gladys M. Reese, 97, died at 5:55 p.m. July 17, 2011, in the University Park Nursing Center, Fort Wayne. She was born Oct. 22, 1913, in Palestine, to Edwin A. and Flo Opal Ellis Shirey. On May 26, 1956, in Angola, she married Guy Reese Sr., who died Jan. 20, 1993.
Dr. Earl Joseph Heath, 83, of 6006 Brandy Chase Cove, Fort Wayne, and formerly of Winona Lake, passed into eternity following a sudden illness at 11:10 a.m. September 17, 2011, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
William D. Ladd, 80, died at 6:50 p.m. Aug. 12, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Sept. 9, 1930, in Macy, to William A. and Mabel Murphy Ladd. He married Alice P. Chamberlin on Valentine’s Day.

NORTH WEBSTER – Richard S. “Dick” Zolman, 89, of North Webster, died at 8:41 a.m. Aug. 1, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. He was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Athens, to Dewey L. and Mary A. Clingenpeel Zolman. On March 11, 1972, in South Bend, he married June Buckingham, who survives.
NAPPANEE – Raymond J. Schwartz, 86, of 452 E. VanBuren St., Nappanee, died at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 1, 2011, in the emergency room at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1924, in Bremen, to Joseph and Emma Miller Schwartz. In 1948, in Bremen, he married JoAnn Leeper, who survives.
