- Child ID - Supports Menards - Attract Business - Angels Child ID Editor, Times-Union: I am writing about an article "Teen Still Missing" on Page 3A of the Dec.14 Times-Union. The final comment, "The sheriff's department is treating her as a runaway case.Since she is not in danger, the situation does not qualify for Amber Alert."The sentiment that the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club has been attempting to communicate through our SafeAssured child identification system is that Missing Child posters can be issued even when a missing child does not meet the requirements for Amber Alert. This girl is missing, and a poster developed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children could be circulated to expedite finding her.

As some of you know, I was very lucky last week and believe me, I accomplished something I did not believe I could do. Yes, I have played the "lottery" in our state from the beginning.I have always hoped and prayed I could be on the show one time. That for me has happened.
- Impeachment - School Calendar - Partial-Birth Abortions Impeachment Editor, Times-Union: If a president is impeached does he still get retirement pay? When a president (whom nobody can accuse of being dumb in the sense of being mentally incapable or as one who cannot speak out of both mouths) shrewdly endorses: 1.NAFTA while knowing that this would virtually open our borders to narcotic imports. 2.Free trade with China and former USSR's Russia without any concern about how that would cause a lot of USA business and industries to close. 3.Increases in immigration that destroy jobs and cause lawlessness because of the type of immigrants permitted.
There's an old saying that, "If you don't like the weather in Indiana, stay a day."That, of course, is to say that the weather here is fairly unpredictable and changes frequently.
- Angel Tree - Max - Metzger Angel Tree Editor, Times-Union: I rang the Salvation Army bell this past Thursday at Kmart.I was dismayed to see the number of tags still hanging on the Angel Tree.I just wanted to offer a suggestion to people. Take a name for each of your children, give them a dollar limit and let them shop for the children from the Angel Tree.It gives them a sense of giving. Our family has been doing this for several years now.It breaks my heart to see those names still hanging there this close to Christmas. Each of those tags represent children who may not have a Christmas this year. Please remember those less fortunate this holiday season.
