Ardith J. Smythe, 85, rural Warsaw, died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at Mason Health Care, Warsaw. She was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Liberty Mills, to John and Pearl Metzger Helvey. On Nov. 19, 1950, in Warsaw, she married Gene E. Smythe. He died Sept. 12, 1993.
