PIERCETON – Gary L. Sponseller, 68, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Kosciusko County, passed away on Nov. 30, 2023, after a battle with Parkinson’s, Lewy Body Dementia and ultimately pneumonia.
Alan L. Andres, 80, of Decatur, former lifelong resident of Kosciusko County, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, at Adams Woodcrest.
Al was born in Hammond, on April 30, 1944, the son of the late Carl and Mary Plank Andres.

Besides elections every four years and being limited to two terms in office, along with articles of impeachment by the House of Representatives and conviction in the Senate on such articles, the president of the United States can also be removed from office by the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Several other amendments to the Constitution regarding removal of the president from office and length of time in office should be added to the Constitution as soon as possible.

Diane Lee Pifer, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, at the age of 81.
Richard “Rick” Bruce Mikulyuk, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, in his hometown of Mishawaka, where he was also born.
