Grace Improves Each Round At League Championships

Grace’s women’s golf team put its finishing touches on the 2016-17 season at the Crossroads League Championships. The Lady Lancers showed improvement all three rounds Monday and Tuesday, finishing in sixth place at Eagle Eye Golf Club. As a team, Grace shot 360-353 over the first two rounds on Monday. The young Lady Lancers, starting three sophomores and two freshmen, capped off the season with a third-round 351 to solidify a sixth-place showing. Grace’s team scoring was 31 strokes better than last year’s result, the first year in team history. Lauren Keiser was the steadiest hand for Grace. She dropped her round score by two strokes each time, producing a scoreline of 89-87-85 to end in 14th place on the individual leaderboard.
