Whitko softball made the long trip to Western Boone High School worth it with a 9-7 extra innings win over the home team on Tuesday to secure the school’s first regional championship since 2017, and second in school history. The Lady ‘Cats have gotten hot at the perfect time, and extend their winning streak to five and improve their record to 10-12.
