Mevis Gears Up For Jaguars’ 2022 NFL Training Camp

There are college graduates filling the offices, labs, and manufacturing facilities throughout the area, and there are college graduates taking a summer break for travel and leisure. Andrew Mevis, WCHS ’17, Warsaw, Fordham, and Iowa State place kicker, will be spending the next 4 ½ weeks preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime shot at the NFL. Mevis was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars almost immediately following the 2022 NFL Draft.

Warsaw Golf Ends State Tournament In Eighth Place

While the Warsaw Tigers’ team score improved in the second and final day of the IHSAA boys golf championship from Prairie View golf course, the team’s position dropped by two spots. After shooting a 318 Wednesday, the Tigers finish the tournament with a 637, ten strokes behind podium finishers Indianapolis Cathedral, who overtook four teams on day two to secure the finish.

Warsaw Golf Ends Day One Of State In Sixth Place

The Warsaw Tigers golf team wrapped up its opening round of the state championship at Prairie View golf course Tuesday, and has plenty to be happy about with the results. The Tigers finished the day with a team score of 319 after 18 holes, twenty strokes behind the leaders, Guerin Catholic.
