- Expansion Plans - Wonderful Strangers - Grateful To Be Alive - Honesty - Educational Priorities Expansion Plans Editor, Times-Union: I'm the very proud mother of three terrific sons who will most likely be finished with Warsaw Community Schools before the new expansion plans are completed. But after experiencing how a portion of this proposal would have enhanced their education, I truly understand how important this is to the future students and the future of the community.I'm concerned about our present dilemma of dealing with our lack of adequate facilities for our performing arts programs. Now is the time.

- Understanding Protests - Evil Practice Understanding Protests Editor, Times-Union: I was having a very hard time understanding the motive behind the war protests within the United States. While I strongly respect and support the decision our president has made to go to war with Iraq, I still want to be able to understand the protesters; I wanted to understand what could cause such a sharp divide in our country.

- Supporting Troops - Addicted To Oil - Time Out - No Perfect World - Great Photographs - Memorial Supporting Troops Editor, Times-Union: Do you really support our troops? Stop for a moment and think ... how many times in the past week to 10 days have you heard a protester say, or perhaps said yourself, "I support our troops, but not our president!" This statement bothered me from the very first time I heard it, simply because you cannot do one and not the other.

- Eastern Time - Organ Donation - Fixing Schools - Animal Welfare - Protective Orders Eastern Time Editor, Times-Union: I agree with Gary Gerard in his news views on Saturday. If Indiana has to change time, stay with what works. If we have different time zones, what's the purpose of changing at all? Personally we should go with the Eastern Zone and include the whole state.Different counties going with different zones would only be more confusing and idiotic. What's wrong with having an extra hour of light in the summer? If we switch to central it will be dark by 3:30-4 p.m.in the fall.

- Shepherds' Rods In Cemetery - Memories Of Dillinger Shepherds' Rods In Cemetery Editor, Times-Union: I agree with Dot Sponseller in her letter about the current supervision of Oakwood Cemetery. When Mario Sahagun was there, he was helpful to bereaved people. I have noticed from the time we buried our daughter there, that the lawn mowing and weed-eater operators were not very careful about what they chopped off. When new management took over, it was a slap in the face to come and see that all the shepherds' rods had been taken down.
