Warsaw Finishes Fourth At Canterbury Invitational

Madi Graham shot a career-low 79 and placed fourth individually, pacing the Warsaw girls golf team to a fourth-place finish in the Canterbury Invitational at Chestnut Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne Monday. Warsaw’s team total of 380 was 42 shots better than the same tournament last season, according to head coach Tad Nieter.

Playing their first home match of the season, the Warsaw Lady Tigers split with 10th-ranked Chesterton and LaPorte Thursday at Stonehenge. Chesterton, led by medalist Elyse Stasil’s round of 1-under 70, won the three-team match with a four-player  score of 332. Warsaw shot 383, beating LaPorte by two strokes.
