It was a banner day for starting pitcher Haylee Allen and her Wawasee teammates Friday evening, as the Warriors defeated the Lady Squires of Manchester 10-5 on the road to improve to 4-2 this season. Manchester has dropped four in a row since winning its opener to fall to 1-4.

The rivalry between Warsaw and Tippecanoe Valley has taken place on many battlegrounds over the years. Wednesday night’s edition of the rivalry was played on the baseball diamond and was controlled by the Tigers from the first pitch onward, as Warsaw notched a 14-2 victory in five innings.

Bats Come Alive As Lancers Sweep Knights In Doubleheader
Grace’s offense erupted for 21 runs in its doubleheader sweep of Marian University on Monday afternoon. The Lancers plated 17 runs to win the opener 17-6 and stout pitching nailed down a 4-3 win to take care of the Knights in the rubber match.
