Showley Shows Out, Tiger Bats Come Alive In 14-2 Win Over Valley
The rivalry between Warsaw and Tippecanoe Valley has taken place on many battlegrounds over the years. Wednesday night’s edition of the rivalry was played on the baseball diamond and was controlled by the Tigers from the first pitch onward, as Warsaw notched a 14-2 victory in five innings.

After his team’s season-ending loss to Bethany Christian in the Hamilton High School sectional final, Lakeland Christian head basketball coach Taylor Long mentioned that a betting man probably wouldn’t place a wager on the Cougars winning 19 games this past season, the team’s most since joining the IHSAA.
Mellott’s Stellar Senior Season Earns Her Back-To-Back POTY Honors
Twice is nice. After leading the Tippecanoe Valley Lady Vikings to 22 wins and the second regional title in school history, senior guard Kaydence Mellott is the Times-Unions girls basketball Player of the Year for the second season in a row.

Following Thursday, March 2, NBA action on TNT, Inside The NBA replayed Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith copying some of MC Hammer’s dance moves. I feel like the halftime/postgame panel of Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Barkley, and Smith are just as entertaining as any late night talk show.

This week’s launch of postseason basketball reminded me of the Schoolhouse Rock animated clip, “Interjections!” The very end of the clip, specifically, already hit me after Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday night’s action.
