NORTH MANCHESTER – The North Manchester Historical Society will host Jerry Bolinger for its program Nov. 10. Bolinger will present a history of Indiana forests and early log structures.
NORTH WEBSTER – The Lakeland Quilt Club held its monthly business meeting at the Tippecanoe Township Hall, North Webster, Monday with President Lynda Sanner presiding.
An anonymous donor contributed fabric and hand-made rugs to the KC Extension Homemakers who made tote bags, which they sold to raise money for the new Fellowship Missions Homeless Shelter.
Evelyn Marsh, who joined the American Legion Auxiliary when she was 11 years old, was presented a 75-year continuous service pin and plaque of recognitoin by Warsaw American Legion Auxiliary Unit 49.

The American Legion Auxiliary, John C. Peterson Unit #49, Warsaw, hosted a free health fair Feb. 21. The public was invited to take advantage of multiple services, which were offered free of charge to all attendees.
