Warsaw Parks & Rec. Offering Pickleball Clinics For Kids & Adults

Register For Kids Pickleball Clinics
The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department is offering kids pickleball clinics in June.
Registration is free, and the clinics are for ages 8 to 12.
The clinics will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 16; Wednesday, June 18; and Friday, June 20 at the K21 Courts at Bixler Park, 503 N. Detroit St., Warsaw.
Instructor Dave Thieme will provide instruction on how to dink along with the best of them.
While this program is free, pre-registration is required; there will be no day-of signups taken. Registration is open from May 19 through June 12, unless filled. Kids can attend as many or as few days as they wish, but the sessions are intended to build upon one another. Children must be a minimum of 8 years old before the clinic begins.

Adult Pickleball Clinics Available

Introduction to pickleball is 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 11.
Instruct & Play is 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, June 12.
Better Backhand Shots is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 24.
Drive or Drop is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26.
The clinics will be held at K21 Courts at Bixler Park, 503 N. Detroit St., Warsaw.
Cost is $20 per person per session.
Join instructor Dave Thieme as he teaches the basics of the game. No need to have a paddle, as all equipment will be provided. Sessions will be small group style so that ample time can be given to each student to help them learn.
Participants can pick and choose sessions to attend, but each class will build upon one another. Registration is required and is open May 19 through June 9, unless filled. Sessions hold max of 10 players.
