WJSHS Celebrates 2025 Senior Scholarship, Award Recipients

SOUTH WHITLEY  – Whitko Jr./Sr. High School held a 2025 Senior Scholarships and Awards program Friday morning,.
These honors recognize outstanding members of the graduating class who have demonstrated exemplary academic performance, leadership, service and character throughout their high school careers, according to a news release from Whitko Community Schools.
The scholarship and award programs at Whitko Jr./Sr. High School are designed to celebrate students who have not only excelled in the classroom but have also made meaningful contributions to their school and community. Through their hard work, resilience and dedication, these students have distinguished themselves as role models among their peers, stated the release.
“We are incredibly proud of this year’s scholarship and award recipients,” said Jodie Clark, principal of Whitko Jr/Sr High School. “These students represent the best of what our school stands for — integrity, academic excellence and a commitment to serving others. It is our privilege to recognize and support them as they take the next step in their educational and personal journeys.”
Each recipient has met or exceeded academic criteria and has actively demonstrated leadership both in and out of the classroom. Many have volunteered within the community, participated in extracurricular activities and served as positive ambassadors of Whitko Jr./Sr. High School, stated the release.
These scholarships and awards have been made possible through the support of local organizations, businesses and individual donors who are dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential through education.
