SYRACUSE – Syracuse Scouts were at Land O’ Lakes Purina Animal Nutrition in Milford Monday to fill bags with toiletries and personal care products for military veterans.
Purina donated the items and bags while 18 Scouts from Syracuse Cub Scout Pack 3828 and Syracuse Boy Scout Troup 728, along with adult volunteers, worked to fill 80 bags. The filled bags will be distributed free to local veterans by The Salvation Army in Warsaw.
After the work was completed and the Salvation Army was van loaded, Land O’ Lakes Purina Animal Nutrition treated the Scouts to pizza for their hard work.
“We are proud to partner with our local Scouts in supporting our area military veterans and showing our gratitude for their service,” said Purina Operations Manager Matthew Goss.
