Ruth Palacios Aguilar, of Warsaw, sadly passed away unexpectedly from a tragic accident on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 25. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience and a deep family connection. Though her family’s hearts are heavy with sorrow, they are comforted by the memories they shared, and the lasting impact Ruth had on each of them. Ruth is safely home in Heaven in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
She was born on June 23, 1999, in Kendallville, and was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Ruth was a 2017 graduate of Tippecanoe High School, Akron. She was a stay-at-home mom, and spent her life caring for her children, Anahi and Enrique Junior. Above all else, she was a devoted mother, they were her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into raising them with unwavering love, strength and grace. Ruth was dearly loved by her family, and was a source of comfort, guidance and endless affection. She will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate heart and the way she always put others before herself. Ruth touched the lives of many with her kindness, sense of humor and nurturing soul.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter, Enrique Jr. and Anahi; parents, Eduardo and Elizabeth Aguilar Mendez, Warsaw; two brothers, Julio (Gaby) Plaza, Warsaw; Gabriel (Yakelin) Aguilar, Warsaw, and her sister, Reyna Palacios, Texas. Ruth also leaves behind her fiancé, Enrique Sanchez; and his daughter, Kamilla, Goshen.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 19 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw
Ruth’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, and officiated by Father David Langford. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
