The Barn 1880: Historic Venue invites the community to a two-day Maker & Merchant Market on Friday, May 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This family-friendly event promises a experience filled with local artisans, live music, food and treats to celebrate Mother's Day weekend, according to a provided news release.
Friday evening highlights include live performances by local band Trademark Pending, culinary delights from Do Good BBQ, a selection of beverages from the cash bar and local makers and merchants and Lake City Photo Booths.
Saturday daytime festivities include Fairfax Coffee Co. and sweet delights from various baked treat vendors; a variety of dishes from It’s All Good food truck; kids and adults can enjoy a temporary tattoo bar; all moms, grandmas, pet parents and plant parents can enjoy the signatures slushies at half price.
