Purdue Extension will be offering a two-session educational program designed to help adults gain confidence and proficiency in using smartphones and tablets.
The Smartphone and Tablet Basics two-session program, scheduled for May 13 and 27 will provide participants with essential knowledge to navigate and maximize the use of their mobile devices.
This program is tailored to adults who may be unfamiliar with mobile technology, or those looking to refresh their skills.
The Smartphone and Tablet Basics program will be led by Purdue Extension health and human sciences educator Shannon Shepherd.
"With smartphones and tablets becoming integral to daily life, it's essential that everyone, regardless of their experience level, has the knowledge and skills to use them confidently," said Shepherd. "This program is designed to make technology more accessible and empower participants to take full advantage of the many tools and resources available at their fingertips."
The program will take place Warsaw Community Public Library, and there is no cost to attend, though pre-registration is required to ensure adequate materials and space. To register or for more information, please call the extension office at 574-372-2340 by Tuesday.
If you are in need of accommodations to attend this program, contact Shepherd prior to the meeting at 574-372-2340 or email at [email protected]. If you need an interpreter or translator, contact Shepherd.
