Violet M. Hursey, 80, Warsaw, died on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1944, in Chicago, to Jasper Turner and Alma Metzer Flory.
On April 4, 1965, Violet married Tom Hursey. He died on July 1, 1983.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at noon in the chapel with Pastor William Whitaker officiating.
Burial will be in South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.
Memorial contributions can be made to her church Warsaw Family Worship Center, c/o Church Missions, 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw, IN 46582.
