Heartline Pregnancy Center announced its 40th anniversary fundraising banquet to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. April 24 at Rodeheaver Auditorium, Winona Lake. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
This 40th anniversary event will highlight client stories past and present and celebrate Heartline’s impact in the community across four decades. As their largest fundraising event of the year, funds raised at the banquet will enable Heartline to continue offering all services to the community at no cost to clients.
Heartline is a faith-based non-profit organization located in Warsaw and serving the women and families of Kosciusko county since 1985. Heartline’s variety of services is designed to support the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of women experiencing challenging or unexpected pregnancies, according to the release. Along with offering free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and one-on-one support throughout pregnancy, Heartline offers programs and resources to support the parenting journey all the way through the child’s fifth birthday. These programs include the B.A.B.E. Boutique, where women can get free maternity clothes and baby essentials from diapers and formula to cribs and car seats; the Earn While You Learn program, which offers one-on-one education and support through weekly classes on topics including prenatal development, breastfeeding, parenting and more; and the RockSolid Fatherhood program, where dads can get one-on-one coaching and mentorship through weekly sessions with a fatherhood coach. Heartline also has referral partnerships with a variety of local agencies, allowing staff to connect clients directly with resources such as housing assistance, nutrition help, childcare assistance, medical care, employment and educational opportunities, domestic violence resources, and mental health support. Thanks to donors and community partners, Heartline is able to offer all services free of charge.
Event Highlights & Information:
● Fundraiser: Thanks to event sponsors, all donations will go directly to funding Heartline programs. There will also be a small silent auction this year, with the headlining item being a pair of Notre Dame football tickets!
● Tickets: Tickets are $30 each (or $220 for a full eight-seat table), which covers the cost of the meal. In honor of the 40th anniversary, free tickets are available for all past Heartline staff, volunteers and board members. Tickets can be reserved online at www.heartlinepregnancycenter.org/banquet, or by phone at 574-267-5110.
