SILVER LAKE — Kole Williams was sworn in as a new chief deputy marshal for Silver Lake on March 21.
He was hired by the town council at a 9 a.m. special meeting.
Williams graduated from the Indiana Police Academy in December 2023. Prior to joining Silver Lake’s police department, Williams worked with the Carrol Sheriff’s Department and Tippecanoe sheriff’s Department since August 2024.
He was hired at a salary of $1,800 bi-weekly with a potential salary increase after a six-month review.
