Earth Day Celebration Set For April 10

The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will have an Earth Day Celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at the Pete Thorn gym, 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw.
For children ages 6 and older, cost is $5 per participant.
Come celebrate Earth Day with the city a little early. This fun and engaging program is designed to teach children the importance of caring for the Earth and encourage them to take action to protect the planet, according to a provided news release. Each hands-on station will allow kids to actively participate through activities like crafting with recycled materials, planting seeds or nature exploration.
Each participant will receive a goody bag along with their craft projects and potted flowers to take home and watch grow! Registration is required and will remain open until April 7, or until all spots are filled.
