AKRON – Mary Louise Stutzman Schmucker, 83, died March 25, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Gilead.
She was born Aug. 22, 1941, to Eli D. and Clara Hochstetler Stutzman near Nappanee. On Sept. 12, 1963, she married Mahlon M. Schmucker; he died May 1, 2021.
The funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 28 at the Alvin Graber residence, 2607 E. Macy Gilead Road, Macy, with Home Ministry officiating. Interment will take place following the service in the Bockover Amish Cemetery on Pleasant Hill Road south of Akron.
Visitation hours will begin after 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 at the Graber residence, 2607 E. Macy Gilead Road, Macy, until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday, March 27 throughout the day and evening.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron.
