Kay Donna Smith, 88, Warsaw, died Sunday, March 23, 2025.
She was born in Whitley County Hospital on Sept. 24, 1936, to Virgil “Pete” Freed and Mabel Jenkins Freed North Manchester. She married James “Jim” Alden Smith on Nov. 28, 1954; he died in 2019.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Kay’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer. She will be laid to rest at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Baker Youth Club, 1401 E Smith St., Warsaw, IN 46580; or to The Beaman Home, P.O. Box 654, Winona Lake, IN 46590.
