Combined Community Services (CCS) announced the launch of its $40,000 in 40 Days campaign, a fundraising effort designed to commemorate 40 years of serving Kosciusko County residents.
The campaign runs from March 24 to May 2, with the goal of raising $40,000 to support the organization’s essential programs and inspire ongoing monthly giving commitments, according to a news release from CCS.
“For four decades, CCS has been a pillar of support for individuals and families in our community, providing critical services such as food assistance, mentoring programs, utility support and resources that promote self-sufficiency,” said Steve Barrett, board president at CCS. “However, rising costs and economic uncertainty have increased the demand for our services. This campaign is a rallying cry to ensure we continue meeting those needs.”
CCS is calling on community members, businesses and organizations to participate by making donations and spreading the word. A contribution of just $40 can make a meaningful impact, providing vital assistance to those in need, the release states.
Supporters are encouraged to visit https://ccsgives.com/40years/ to make a donation and learn more about the campaign.
“As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are reminded that our success is a direct result of the generosity and compassion of our community,” Kiira Churchill, executive director, said. “Every gift, no matter the size, helps CCS provide comfort, hope and resources to our neighbors.”
