Opposes Data Center

Editor, Times-Union:
I am writing this letter to voice my most vociferous opposition to the rezoning of any property in our county for a data center.
There are already concerns about the local water tables given our propensity for drought in the late summer season. As well, a data center will bring very little employment to the county.
Whatever property tax gains that we may believe this would bring to the local coffers could hardly be offset by the need for water.
I can live without data, I can not live without water.
The Area Plan meeting is on April 2 at 1 p.m. in the old courtroom on the third floor of the Kosciusko County Courthouse.
