Talents For Better Things

Editor, Times-Union:
The intent of this editorial is meant to offer food for thought and be respectful.
Ms./Mrs. Jeanne T. Schutz, over the years you have submitted many editorials in the Times-Union and appears you have also paid for block ads for political rhetoric.
Many readers of the editorials look at who the author is and skip reading it because it's the same content over and over, kind of like beating a dead horse (old school term).
You defiantly have literary skills and passion.
Have you considered using those talents to volunteer to help children and adults read and write? Also, the money being spent on block ads could help the charity of your choice, maybe St. Jude Children's research Hospital or Riley Hospital for children? Consider the life changing impact your skills and money could have on helping others?
We have the power to improve the lives of people in a lasting and meaningful way.
Thank you for your consideration.
