BOURBON – Norma Faulkner, 88, of Bourbon,  passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, in her home.
Norma was born to William and Ruth Insley Abbott on Oct. 20, 1936, in Rochester. She married Thomas R. Faulkner on June 28, 1953, and he survives. She was a member of the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, and she also attended Life Covenant Sanctuary of Bradenton, Fla. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and making blankets and baby hats for charitable organizations.
Norma is survived by her husband, Thomas Faulkner, of Bourbon; her daughters, Pamela Sue (Elmer) Miller, of Bourbon; Melody (Rudy) Tamayo, of Kailua, Hawaii; her sons: Robert A. Faulkner, of Bourbon; Bryan J. (Donna) Faulkner, of Bourbon, Mo.; and Jerry (Marcia) Faulkner, of Bourbon; her 17 grandchildren; her 31 great-grandchildren; and her brothers: William Abbott, of Rochester; and Donald Abbott, of LaPaz.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth Abbott; her sister, Betty Leedy; and her brother, James Abbott.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, 201 N. Bourbon St., Bourbon.
A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Matthew Cottrill and Pastor Dale Eason officiating and Heidi Legere giving a eulogy.
The burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, 201 N. Bourbon St., Bourbon, IN 46504, in Norma’s honor.
