Akron Library Has First Jane Austen Tea Party

The first annual Jane Austen Tea Party, held recently at the Akron Public Library, was a great success, according to the library. A luncheon was served, followed by a lesson on ladies fan etiquette, a piano interlude and a vintage craft consisting of wax-sealed bookmarks. The afternoon concluded with a traditional English Country Dance.
