MENTONE – Peder “Pete” Christian Pedersen, 84, Mentone, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital of Warsaw.
Pete was born Feb. 16, 1941, in Indianapolis, to Alfred and Mary Cook Pedersen. He served in the U.S. Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
In 1973, Pete married Joyce Laughlin in 1991 in Warsaw; she survives.
A memorial gathering will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 16 at the American Legion Post #424, 202 S. Main St., Bourbon. Military honors will then be performed at 3 p.m. in honor of his service to his country.
The arrangements have been entrusted to King Memorial Home, Mentone.
