Four downtown Warsaw coffee destinations will be open late on Wednesday, March 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. for Downtown Coffee Klatch.
The event will provide opportunities for evening socializing, conversations, connections and games.
In 2024, Main Street Warsaw hosted two Coffee Klatch events that attracted more than 50 people. The participating destinations are looking to build off that momentum. To add to the ambience of the event, Main Street Warsaw is sponsoring acoustic music for each location from 5:30 to 7 p.m., according to a news release from Main Street Warsaw.
“We want to create a relaxed atmosphere for students and residents of all ages to come downtown to socialize, enjoy music and be a part of the growing downtown coffee culture. The music lineup features a diverse group of musicians that should appeal to a wide range of musical tastes. People can stay in one location or tour the coffee destinations,” said Main Street Warsaw Downtown Development Director Terry Sweeney.
Participating coffee destinations and music line up include:
• Bakehouse 23, 108 N. Buffalo St.: Ben Essick, baritone saxophonist.
• Generous Coffee, 121 W. Center St.: singer, song writer, Matt Fawcett.
• The River Coffee House, 101 W. Center St.: Jake Borowski from Starheart guitarist playing acoustic fare in the style of James Taylor, Paul Simon, Jeff Tweedy etc. and mixes some original music in between.
• The Gathering Place, 123 S. Buffalo St.: Bill Music, new staff member at Fellowship Missions.
