Northwest Bank, through the Northwest Charitable Foundation, contributed to Legacy of Blessings Adoption Foundation.
Northwest’s recent $1,000 donation will help support Legacy’s mission of making the dream of family a reality for those desiring to make a difference in the lives of children by providing a safe and loving home environment. Legacy assists in securing funding for those who feel passionate about making a difference for children but may lack the means to take on the initial financial burden involved with adoption. There are thousands of children in Indiana waiting to be adopted into a loving and supportive home and Legacy works to help those who want to help others - specifically the most vulnerable children in our communities. Northwest partnered with Legacy of Blessings to support this mission in the county, according to a news release from Northwest Bank.
Legacy of Blessings Adoption Foundation was founded by Phil and Melissa Kuhn with board of director members Robert Brannock, Deb Burson, Nate Metler, Jennifer Naue and Malika Lingaman.
Legacy is hosting the second annual Dance for Adoption on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Warsaw Community Church. This all-age family event is free with dancing, a raffle, snacks and drinks with donations encouraged.
