Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) recently honored DreamOn Studios during the Warsaw boys basketball game against Tippecanoe Valley.
This recognition night celebrated DreamOn Studios’ commitment to empowering students through media education and hands-on experiences, as well as supporting district-wide initiatives, according to a news release from WCS.
During the halftime event, Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert, WCS board members and school administrators gathered at center court to recognize Mason Geiger, CEO and co-founder, and Matt Deuel, executive producer and co-founder of DreamOn Studios, along with their team, for their dedication to DreamOn Academy — a partnership with Warsaw Area Career Center digital media students. This collaboration provides real-world training in video production, storytelling and content creation, preparing students for careers in digital media.
"We are incredibly grateful for DreamOn Studios’ investment in our students," said Hoffert. "Their commitment to fostering creativity, media literacy and career readiness has had a lasting impact not only at the high school but throughout our entire district."
