Joyce Arlene Loebs

Joyce Arlene Loebs, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at the age of 79, while in the care of Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center and Stillwater Hospice.
Joyce was born on Oct. 1, 1945, in St. Cloud, Minn., to Naomi Liljegren Erickson and Rev. Arnold Erickson. Joyce spent her childhood in northern Minnesota and graduated from high school in Blackduck, Minn. On June 2, 1979, she married Harold Samuel Loebs in Two Harbors, Minn. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage.
Joyce made Warsaw her home for the past 10 years. She loved being a mom and grandma and dedicated her life to her family. She was known for her servant’s heart, care of others and love for the Lord. She enjoyed baking, crafting, sewing and sharing her many talents with others.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Samuel Loebs, Warsaw; her son, Patrick (Heidi) Loebs, Warsaw; her daughter, Kendra Loebs, Port Angeles, Wash.; and three granddaughters. Also surviving are her brother, Timothy (Heidi) Erickson, Golden Valley, Minn.; and two sisters, Phyllis (John) Clark, Pasco, Wash.; and Verna (Vernon) Beighley, Blackduck, Minn. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter, Angela Loebs; her brother, Paul Erickson; and her sister, Sheryll Erickson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31 at Church of the Good Shepherd, 708 College Ave., Winona Lake, officiated by Pastor Eric Sass. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 1:30 to 2 p.m. A reception will follow the service. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to an organization close to Joyce’s heart, for which she sewed burial gowns that are donated to grieving families of stillborn infants: Little Angel Gowns, LTD, 144 Carey Drive, Noblesville, IN 46060.
