ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Warsaw Board of Public Works, Warsaw, Indiana will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor and materials for the construction of the County Road 300N Road Improvements Project until 10:30 A.M. local time on February 7, 2025 at Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at 102 South Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:30 A.M. local time on February 7, 2025 at the Council Chambers, City Hall, 102 South Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. Any bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened.
The project is partially funded with Community Crossing Grant Funds (CCMG) and consists of chip and sealing County Road 300N from County Road 200W to County Road 150. This project will also include full depth HMA reconstruction and curb & gutter at the intersection of County Road 200W and County Road 300N and will also include new pavement markings, signs, small drainage improvements and site restoration.
The Project Documents will be available in electronic format to examine and download at QUEST CDN.COM. The QuestCDN eBidDoc number for this project is 9472994. Only QuestCDN Plan Holders are eligible bidders.
A Pre-bid meeting will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 102 South Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
Bid proposals shall be complete and properly executed on the bid form and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security.
A certified or cashier’s check payable to the City of Warsaw, or a bid bond in the amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount.
In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the City of Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety will consider the Total Base Bid and Mandatory Add Alternate Bids made for the contract. The City of Warsaw may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents such as experience and subcontractors.
The City of Warsaw Public Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to award contracts in the best interest of the City of Warsaw.
In accordance with IC 4-13-18, contractor shall provide proof of employee drug testing policy for projects of at least $150,000, per IC 36-1-12-24.
For bids greater than $150,000.00, Contractor must provide a copy of valid State Public Works Division Certificate pursuant to IC 4-13.6-4 to qualify for all public works projects, except street projects.
For street project bids greater than $300,000.00, Contractor must provide a copy of valid INDOT certificate of qualification pursuant to IC 8-23-10. Applies to all contractor tiers as defined by IC 5-16-13, excludes suppliers as defined by IC 4-13.6.1.20.
