Dione Antoinette Gregg McCandlish, of Albuquerque, N.M., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, in her residence at the age of 54.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1970, in Albuquerque, N.M.; she lived much of her life in New Mexico but often visited family and friends in Indiana. She was the daughter of Jerry E. and Sharon “Sherry” Ragan Gregg.
Dione graduated from Del Norte High School in 1989 and earned her associate's degree from Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute in 1994. She was committed to education and self-improvement. In 2018, she was actively pursuing her bachelor's degree at the University of New Mexico. In her professional life, she worked at AOL as a technical support specialist, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and expertise.
In Dione’s personal life, Dione accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. By doing so, Dione will have eternal life and peace while resting in Jesus’ loving arms.
Dione leaves behind her loving mother, Sharon "Sherry" Ragan Gregg, of Albuquerque; her half sister, Dawn Wilson, of Albuquerque; niece, Blair Clayburg (Scott); great-niece, Ally Wilson; and great-nephew, Ethan Clayburg, of New Mexico; nephew, Chance Wilson, of Texas; nephew, Jake Wilson, of New Mexico; great-nieces, Lanna and Ella; niece, Jenson Wilson, of Oklahoma; sister, Theresa Satterfield, of New Mexico; niece, Krystal Lermon, of Texas; great-nephews, Raymon and Rolland Lermon; niece, Kyra Satterfield, of New Mexico; aunt, Cassandra (Mauricio) Barragan and family, of Texas; and her uncle, Mike (DeAnna) Ragan, of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry E. Gregg; her grandparents, John and Doris Gregg, Phil and Patricia Ragan; and cousin, Troy Ragan.
Titus Funeral Home is entrusted with the care of Dione and her family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, 421 N. Maple Ave., Warsaw. Please meet at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw, at 1:45 p.m. to process to the cemetery.
