Syracuse Man Stabbed At Syracuse Bar

SYRACUSE - A Syracuse man was stabbed Thursday night at a Syracuse bar allegedly by another Syracuse man during a confrontation.
According to a news release from the Syracuse Police Department, at approximately 11:37 p.m. Thursday, Syracuse Police officers responded to a 911 report of a stabbing at Huntington Street Bar and Grill, 704 N. Huntington St. On arrival, officers found the suspect, Allen Harper Jr., 38, of 12380 N. Kings Drive, Syracuse, in the alleyway and the victim, Travis Luke, 52, Syracuse, inside the establishment. The stabbing was reportedly the result of a physical confrontation that occurred between the two men in the alley, the release states.
Luke was transported by ambulance to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for treatment of multiple stab wounds.
Harper was transported by ambulance to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Warsaw. Upon release, he was taken to the Kosciusko County Jail where he was booked at 2:58 a.m. Friday for battery with a deadly weapon. Harper was on hold at the jail as of Friday afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing currently.
Syracuse Police Department was assisted by the Turkey Creek Fire Territory and North Webster Police Department.
