Lawrence Lee ‘Boomer’ Priser

Lawrence Lee "Boomer" Priser, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at Majestic Care of West Allen in Fort Wayne at the age of 81.
He was born on Feb. 28, 1943, in Warsaw, Indiana, the son of Ralph and Mary Fairbanks Priser.
Boomer graduated from Claypool High School and went on to have a fulfilling career as a finisher at R.R. Donnelley. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, exemplifying his dedication and commitment to his country. On Dec. 9, 1978, he married Marjorie “Marge” Vandermark in Houghton Lake, Mich. The two shared a delightful 32 years together before she passed in July of 2011.
Known for his generous spirit, Boomer touched the lives of many with his kindness and warmth. He was cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Priser; sister-in-law, Mickey Priser; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Boomer was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary Fairbanks Priser; his wife, Marjorie "Marge" Priser; his sister, Mary Lou Mason; and his brother, William Anthony Priser.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with the care of Boomer. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Oakwood Cemetery, 421 N. Maple Ave., Warsaw, following with military honors. Please meet at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan St. Warsaw, at 1:45 p.m. to process to the cemetery.
