February 27, 2025 at 8:30 p.m.

The city of Warsaw Oakwood Cemetery is asking that all winter decorations that have been placed in or on the ground at gravesites be removed as soon as possible to allow for maintenance of the cemetery grounds.
According to the Board of Regents rules and regulations, grave blankets should have been removed by March 1. The remaining blankets will be removed and disposed of by the groundskeepers.
All decorations for spring, summer and fall must be placed on the monument’s cement foundation, monument base or on top of the monument. Decorations placed in or on the ground will be removed. For safety reasons, glass vases/decorations are not permitted as well as shepherd’s hooks.
