Patsy Menzie, 85, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at Parkview Kosciusko Hospital.
Patsy was born on Nov. 17, 1939, in Silver Lake, to Fred and Grace Bayless Swope.
On Oct. 1, 1989, she married her loving husband Cloyce Menzie in Warsaw, Indiana. They shared 30 years of memories until his passing in 2019.
Patsy worked as a processor for Serenade Foods for 27 years. Patsy loved watching her favorite shows and movies on Hallmark and HGTV. She enjoyed watching church service on Sunday, as she was strong in her faith. She was a member of Pathways Church of Warsaw and devoted her life to God and serving the Lord.
She was strong willed and had a “never give up attitude,” which helped her in fighting her kidney illness.
Patsy will be remembered by her loving children: Kim (Deb) Lipply, of Warsaw; Tammy Rhoades (Terry Busz), of Warsaw; and Terry (Melanie) Lipply, of Lakeland, Fla.; granddaughter, Kimberlee (Rodney) Habegger; great-granddaughter, Kenzi Habegger; brother, Larry (Nancy) Swope, North Webster. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Robert Menzie, of Auburn; and Beckie (Irwin) Berkowitz, of Chicago; as well as several other stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, sister and stepdaughter, Tamara Carlin.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4 at the funeral chapel. Funeral services in celebration of Patsy’s life will follow at 1 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Rev. Samantha Freds officiating.
Burial will follow services at Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw.
The family kindly request the memorial contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League 1048 S. 325 E., Pierceton, IN 46562.
