Gary A. Knouff passed away on Jan. 9, 2025, in Strongsville, Ohio, surrounded by his girls.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Myre (nee Shinas); he daughters, Sarah (James) Serafin and Jordan (Karl) Larew; grandchildren: Olivia and Benjamin Serafin and Stella and Niko Larew; brother, Steve (Marg) Knouff, Warsaw; and sister, Cindy (Dan) Cordill, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolin and Inabelle Knouff.
Gary graduated in 1960 from Warsaw Community High School and later from Indiana University with a degree in accounting. He also served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Air Force Band of The Midwest, playing tuba and string base. He moved to Ohio in 1981 and lived in the Cleveland area until his passing in Strongsville.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Sunset Memorial Chapel with burial in Sunset Memorial Park, both in North Olmsted, Ohio.
Memorial donations were requested to go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org).
