Blessed Are The Peacemakers

Editor, Times-Union:
As I was in my car yesterday, this thought came to me, “We need to be Peacemakers.”
Being is a verb, a call to action. It takes effort on our part to “Be” each day. Being a peacemaker isn’t easy when we feel “we’re right and they are wrong” ... maybe we’re both right, but our heart’s posture is what people will see and hear.
I read this today, “No one gives grace better than the one who humbly admits that he desperately needs it himself.” Push pride down and be a peacemaker.
Sometimes saying less is saying more.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9
