NIPSCO will close Anchorage Road from Feb. 28 through March 7 for utility relocation work.
This work is to prepare for the city of Warsaw’s reconstruction of Anchorage Road. The city hopes to begin reconstruction later this year, according to a news release from the city.
Following the Anchorage Road closure, Sunset Drive will then close between the bridge and Anchorage Road from March 8 through March 15 for additional work to be completed.
Work along Anchorage Road will continue for several weeks following these closures.
Motorists should expect lane closures and flaggers, at times. Motorists are strongly encouraged to find alternative routes while this work is being completed, the release states.
