Lorene McNeely, 73, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at home.
She was born on March 20, 1951, in Terre Haute, to John and Norma White Wickard. Lorene married John McNeely on Aug. 9, 1968, after he returned from Vietnam. Lorene worked as a waitress for the Huddle Grill, Bob's Oasis Truck Shop and even did some modeling for Umbaugh's Photography.
She was full of life, always completely honest and enjoyed making others laugh. She loved giving a hand to help her neighbors of many years at Retired Tigers Retirement Home. She enjoyed going to garage sales, dancing and singing to the oldies, especially when it came to Elvis. She made it to Graceland and was able to cross off her dream of walking through Elvis' home and staying in Heartbreak Hotel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Norma Clyde; husband; and granddaughter, Amber Bachtel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.
