Nappanee Teen Arrested For Threats Toward School

NAPPANEE - A Nappanee teen was arrested after allegedly making threats toward a middle school.
According to a news release from the Nappanee Police Department, the Bremen and Nappanee police departments arrested a juvenile suspect in connection with threats made toward Bremen Middle School.
The arrest came after a “swift and thorough” investigation by the Bremen police in collaboration with the school resource officers for the Nappanee Police Department and the Elkhart County Juvenile Court, the release states.
Law enforcement officials urge parents and guardians to speak with their children about the seriousness of making threats and the consequences that follow.
The release states the Bremen and Nappanee police departments “appreciate the community’s cooperation and support as they work to keep local schools safe.”

Warsaw Falls To Carroll In First Home Boys Volleyball Game
History was made at the Tiger Den on Tuesday night, as for the first time in school history, a boys volleyball team took the floor for a home game. One of two new IHSAA-recognized sports for the 2024-25 school year, boys volleyball made its debut in Kosciusko County as Warsaw hosted Carroll. Each game was close, but it was the Chargers that left town with a 3-0 win.
