Daniel Lee Hill, of Silver Lake, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, in Wesley Chapel, Fla., after a year long battle with Leukemia at the age of 48.
Dan was born May 1, 1976, to Robert and Cheryl Metzger Hill in Warsaw.
Dan graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, watching sports of all kinds and collecting antiques. Dan was employed at Flexhaust of Warsaw. He attended Athens Community Church.
The loving memory of Daniel Hill will be forever cherished by his parents, Robert and Cheryl Hill, of Silver Lake; his brother, Chris Hill, of Silver Lake; his sister, Erika Hill, of Clermont, Fla.; his nephews: Jonathyn, Jaxson and Korbyn, all of Clermont, Fla.; his aunt and uncle, Connie and Terry Rouse, of Silver Lake; his aunt and uncle, Patricia and Frank Keller, of Longwood, Fla.; and his cousins, Jay and Tina Harting, of Silver Lake; and Brad Dempsey, Mike Dempsey and Chad Keller, of Florida. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and June Metzger and Bob and Dora Hill.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with the care of Dan and his family. Friends and family may gather there for visitation, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw, on Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 2 until 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. On Thursday Feb. 27, Dan’s Life Celebration service will begin at 2 p.m. with the doors opening one hour prior. Athens Community Church’s Bryan Koorey will officiate the service. Dan will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Silver Lake.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation in Dan’s memory.
